CosyWall blow-in wall insulation system can be installed from inside the home.

Blow-in insulation is quick and clean to install. Your walls can be patched to leave a smooth and seamless finish as part of our overall solution, or you can DIY it as part of a major renovation. CosyWall is a great way to upgrade the thermal performance of your walls without having to remove plasterboard.

CosyWall is a sustainable insulation product. The insulation is manufactured in selected plants by melting and spinning a blend of inert, natural minerals. It is non-combustible, water-resistant, breathable, won’t settle or shrink and has a trouble-free history of insulating New Zealand external wall cavities since 2002. CosyWall™ is packed in plastic weather tight.

As a result, he CosyWall system has inherent thermal, acoustic and fire performance.

There are a range of options.  The Enstall team can install insulation to your external walls, as part of your renovation project.

There are options to insulate an opened wall cavity, including glasswool and polyester segments, as well as blow-in options.  It is important to maintain a drainage plane between the back of the external linings and the insulation.  This can be achieved by:

• The option of blowing insulation into the cavity in front of the drainage plane and external wrap also exists.
• Installing a rigid insulation (such as polyester high density)  leaving a gap to the back of the weather board
• installing a drainage plane material and external building wrap, and then filling the cavity with full thickness glasswool or polyester insulation segments.
