InsulApe provides a fantastic range of options for slab edge solutions to meet the new H1 requirements. A range of standard products at 300mm and 600mm high, with R-Values from R1.1 to R2.7 (30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm).
Pre-Install | Cast-in
Installed against the boxing prior to concrete pour.
This option is best suited to 140mm external wall frames. Options include a Square top, or a Tongue top to enable suitable cover form hold-down bolts.
Includes mechanical proprietary "h" joiners to add to keying to slurry, and to ensure flush join of corners/length to length.
Post-install | Externally applied
Installed to the outside face of the slab edge (either for new or as a retrofit application).
An ideal option and recommended for 90mm externally framed homes.
For homes with external insulation, the Square top option provides the ability to continue the thermal envelope down the face of the slab to underslab insulation.

Utilising XPS insulation, InsulAPE produces the widest range of pre-finished slab edge. The proven system has been used throughout New Zealand since 2014. Designed to meet the ongoing rigours of the external facing of slabs.
